After litterally drowning under thousands of complaint letters from desperate lady fans -consisting mainly of my mom- willing to know about my every eyelash movement (in the form of one email reading : "Sourya, i hope you are not still wasting your time and the world's ink on stupid drawings and that you have decided to get a normal job. Oh, and please eat some fruits. Love, mom"), i have decided that, yes, it was finally time that i make progress with my life, that i stop being so selfish and irresponsible, and that i start doing what i can to try and make this world a better place to live for everyone : namely, start this blog.
Don't thank me.
Now, what to start it with is a good question, since my life is filled with so many crazy events happening one after the other from dawn to dusk : waking up late morning, at around 3pm, wondering what day it is, taking a nap, having coffee...i could go on and on, but i will do you a favour and stop this list here. Didn't i tell you i was getting more responsible?
As a matter of fact, i can't show you what i am currently working on -partly because i am working on new Magenta Skateboard graphics (for those of you who have been hiding in a cave, or that have been hiding anywhere outside of MY cave, in the past 5 months, Magenta is the skateboard company i am doing the art direction for, as you can see here:
)(yes, there was an opened parentheses, and i happen to be very rigorous) and some illustrations for t-shirts graphics for a Belgian designer, both projects for which i can't spoil the surprise; and partly because my work, over the course of the summer, can pretty much be summed up by...well, by this picture:
So, humm, yeah, anyway.
I will instead indulge in shameless self-promotion and show you two little Magenta video edits from a 5 day trip to Germany.
If after that, you don't decide to invest the entirety of your life savings in our products, then i don't know anything about marketing.
Which, to be very honest with you, wouldn't surprise me all that much.
